Inspiration: Tablescape Photoshoot

On May 17, 2011, Dream Weddings had the opportunity to work with an amazing group of wedding professionals for our tablescape photoshoot. Take a look at the inspiring photos captured during the shoot along with each desired inspiration, which was created by three different designers. Following the photos is a video trailer which will take you inside the day of the photoshoot where you can see the Dream Team in action.

VictorianVictorian Victorian The Victorian era is making a comeback. Fashion enthusiasts are beginning to look to the past to embellish their latest designs. This will be a rising trend with weddings especially with all the publicity of the recent Royal Wedding. Kim Koch captured her Victorian vision by flowing vintage lace, fresh and candied fruits, candelabras, vintage china, and rich florals throughout a refurbished antique table.

Mixed Metals Mixed Metals Mixed Metals Mixed Metals Mixed Metals The inspiration for Amanda and Lindsay’s tablescape came from the idea of mixing metals (a hot upcoming trend in weddings and events for 2012). From silver chiavari chairs, to the gold chargers, and everything in between— they created an elegant, yet fun, head table. The inspiration for the floral design came from the idea of incorporating a gardenesque element by using colors to soften the table and create pops of color to accent the textured linens.

Eco-friendlyEco-friendlyEco-friendlyEco-friendlyEco-friendlyEco-friendlyEco-friendlyA growing wedding trend for brides is eco-friendly options for their reception. Brides want to incorporate this eco-theme in everything from catering to event design. Using this as an inspiration, David Everett pulled the outdoors in with elements from nature. He created an eco-tablescape complete with moss, ferns, and lush florals. Suspending a curly willow chandelier from the tent at Conewago Manor Inn added an additional piece of visual interest to compliment the eco-theme.
